Hello folks! 2018 marks a decade of TrinityCore being here, getting to know everyone in the past decade has been a pleasure, we had some old faces and some new ones in our midst in 2018, everyone is welcome here. even if we dont always make that clear through our actions, but we appreciate everyone who hangs out with us and helps out via bug reports, patches, moral/user support or just being around. I would like to wish you all a wonderful new year for 2019, I hope it brings you all the best fortune. 🎉

Hello @everyone Another year gone by... 2021 was as challenging a year as we have gotten, but we are now officially at the door to 2022. We made many changes here at TC this year and we will make many more in the upcoming months.
Trinity would be nothing if not for the amazing community that had been with us since 2008, so thank you for all your help whether it was code, documentation, PR's, questions, comments or just encouraging words. As always we are here to listen to any ideas💡 or suggestions you may have. From all of us at Trinity core, have an amazing 2022!

No matter what part of the world you're in, it's safe to say you're about to meet 2023 head-on. We promised more changes to Trinitycore last year and we have done our best to enact many of them and we're working on more. 2023 is going to be another glorious year for Trinitycore, I know that because, you're here with us! How can this many amazing people be here and not make this community be awesome just by their presence?
We can't wait to see where the next year takes us, the new friends we make, the new adventures we undertake. We at Trinitycore wish you all nothing but happiness, safety, and success in a prosperous New Year. Stick around because we can't wait to see all the amazing contributions from all of you in 2023 🙂. As always we are here to listen to any ideas💡 or suggestions 🪧 you may have.

Happy New Year @everyone! 🎉
Another year has spun by faster than a rogue druid in flight form, and what a year it's been for TrinityCore! As we prepare to dive headfirst into 2025, let's take a moment to reflect on the highs and lows of 2024.
Firstly, a huge shout-out to the incredible new members who joined the TrinityCore team this year! Your skills and enthusiasm have been a major boost, and we're so glad to have you onboard.
Speaking of awesome additions, let's hear it for Ovahlord and the Cataclysm Classic branch! 😺 Archiving the Cataclysm Preservation Project and bringing official support for Cataclysm Classic to TrinityCore is a monumental achievement. This is a huge win for the community, and we can't wait to see what adventures await in Azeroth's past. And of course, the master branch continues to thrive! Thanks to your ongoing contributions, bug reports, and suggestions, it's getting more polished and powerful every day. 💪
Now, 2024 had a few bumps in the road. While we had to make the tough decision to discontinue official 3.4.3 (Wrath Classic) support due to dwindling activity, we remain committed to providing a stable and enjoyable experience for our community. The 3.3.5a branch is in maintenance mode. We're focused on maintaining its stability and security.
We also faced a critical exploit that, unfortunately, led us to almost removing warden support. Your security is our top priority, and we want to protect our users.
Despite these setbacks, the spirit of TrinityCore remains as vibrant as ever. We're incredibly grateful for your continued support, and we're excited to see what amazing things we can accomplish together in 2025!
Here's to a new year filled with laughter, camaraderie, and code that compiles on the first try (most of the time 😉). Let's make 2025 the best year yet for TrinityCore!
P.S. I sure I'm missing important events here, so I apologize to those not mentioned in here, I promise I love you long time! 🥂

@everyone Look, I know it’s January 3rd. Consider this a delayed push to master. My local branch for "New Year Celebrations" had some merge conflicts with reality, and I’ve only just now managed to resolve the errors.
Another year has been garbage-collected into the past. 2025 was a whirlwind of C++ optimizations, SQL queries that actually worked (eventually), and the kind of community dedication that keeps this project alive while others segfault into oblivion.
TrinityCore has been a staple since 2008, and honestly, it’s a miracle we’re all still here and sane—well, "sane" is probably pushing it, but we’re here. Whether you’ve been with us since the early days or you just submitted your first PR that didn't immediately break the build, thank you. You guys are the reason this project is broken! is thriving.
We’ve got plans for 2026. I dont know what they are, but I swear they exist! Hopefully, code that compiles on the first try (a guy can dream, right?) and pigs that can fly!
Keep those bug reports coming, keep the PRs flying, and keep being the brilliant, code-obsessed community that makes Azeroth feel like home.
Here’s to a 2026 brimming with success, happiness, and zero-latency joy. Let’s make this year our most optimized one yet!
Onward and upward. 🥂
P.S. This message is 93% human-crafted—mostly because the LLMs I tried to use kept trying to write the code in Java, and we don't do that here.
